Community Guidelines

Welcome to Profylio. Our community is built around honest self-improvement and friendly competition. To keep it fun and safe for everyone, we expect all users to follow these rules. These guidelines form part of our Terms of Service and apply to every interaction on Profylio: profile photos, scan posts, comments, direct messages, usernames, and bios.

1. Be Respectful

• No harassment, bullying, hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or other discriminatory behavior.
• No personal attacks, threats, intimidation, or doxxing.
• Disagree without being cruel. Mocking other users' scores or appearance will result in a ban.

2. Real Photos of Yourself Only

• Only upload photos of your own face. Don't upload pictures of celebrities, friends, or strangers without explicit consent.
• Don't use AI-generated, edited, or filtered photos to manipulate your score.
• Catfishing or impersonation = instant permanent ban.

3. 18+ Only

• Profylio is for users 18 years or older. If we discover you are underage, your account will be deleted and your data removed.
• Never upload photos of minors, even your own younger photos.

4. No Inappropriate Content

• No nudity, sexual content, or NSFW material.
• No violence, gore, weapons, or content depicting self-harm.
• No promotion of drugs, illegal activity, or eating disorders.
• No content that exploits, abuses, or endangers any person.

5. No Spam or Self-Promotion

• Don't post links to scams, gambling, crypto schemes, or external services unrelated to Profylio.
• Don't repeatedly send the same message or post.
• Don't use Profylio to promote your business or sell products.
• Don't artificially inflate likes, followers, or rankings.

6. One Account per Person

• No fake accounts, multi-accounts, or bots.
• Don't share your account credentials with others.
• Don't buy, sell, or trade Profylio accounts.

7. Privacy of Others

• Don't share another user's personal information (real name, address, workplace, school) without their consent.
• Don't screenshot and publicly share private DMs with the intent to embarrass or harass.
• Respect the privacy of people in the background of any photo you upload.

8. Reporting & Enforcement

See something that breaks these rules? Tap the ⋯ menu on any profile, post, or message and select "Report".

We review reports within 24 hours. Consequences depend on severity:

1. Warning — first or minor violations.
2. Temporary suspension — repeated or moderate violations (24 hours to 30 days).
3. Permanent ban — severe or repeated serious violations.

Severe violations (harassment, illegal content, age violations, exploitation) lead to instant permanent bans without warning. Banned users may not create new accounts.

9. Appeals

If you believe your content or account was actioned in error, email profylio.app@gmail.com within 14 days with your username and a brief explanation. Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the one who issued the action.

10. Final Word

Profylio reserves the right to remove any content or account that violates these guidelines or the spirit of our community, even if not explicitly listed above. These guidelines may be updated at any time. Continued use of Profylio means you agree to the latest version.
