Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Profylio account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how.

Option 1 — Delete From Inside the App (Recommended)

Open Profylio on your device.
Go to Me → Settings → Privacy.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion.

Your account and all your scans, posts, messages, followers, and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You will be signed out immediately.

Option 2 — Request Deletion by Email

If you no longer have access to the app or your device, you can request deletion by email:

Email profylio.app@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Profylio account.
Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
Include your username if you remember it (this helps us locate your account faster).

We will verify your identity and confirm the deletion within 7 business days. The actual data deletion is completed within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

Your account (email, username, display name, bio, profile photo, profile link).
All face scans you have ever taken or uploaded.
All your posts, comments, likes, and direct messages.
Your follower and following lists.
Your push notification tokens and device data.
Your preferences and privacy settings.

What May Be Retained

For legal, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons, we may retain a limited subset of data after account deletion:

Anonymized aggregate statistics (e.g. tier distribution averages) — these cannot be linked back to you.
Records of payment transactions — required by tax law (handled by Apple or Google, not us).
Records related to ongoing legal claims or abuse investigations, only for as long as necessary.

Your Subscription

Deleting your Profylio account does not automatically cancel any active Profylio Pro subscription. You must cancel separately:

iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Profylio → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Profylio → Cancel Subscription.
